My name is Dan Bucci, and I am a runner from Tacoma, Washington. I started running when I was 23 years old in 2006 after putting on some weight after getting my first job and eating like a fool. At first, I started walking 1 mile a day after work, this evolved into a jog, and then 3 mile runs. By the summer of 2007 I was running 40 miles a week and decided it’d be fun to run a marathon. My life changed one day in mid-October when I crossed the finish line of the Atlantic City Marathon in 3:52. Since that day I have run 100+ more marathons or ultras, some hundred milers, and a lot of other odd distances. I just run all the time. I am a proud member of TEAM TROT, a group of bad ass runners sponsored by Trail Racing Over Texas. In my free time I enjoy doing other active things like Hot Yoga, HIIT Training, etc. I also am very involved in Washington Running Community and help direct a number of races in the Seattle Area.
Thanks for visiting, and I’ll see you on the roads, or trails, or any other surface where running is acceptable.
